Job Description
- Help patients move around and transition between the medical institution and their everyday activities.
- Vital indicators such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate should be measured and noted for each patient.
- Assist patients with eating and drinking, particularly those who require special diets or feeding tubes.
- Give patients and their families an explanation of medical procedures, treatment plans, and directions for following up after treatment.
- Ensure that patient records are kept up to date and accurately reflect the care that was given.
- To reduce the chance of illnesses spreading, use good hygiene and infection control procedures.
- Inform medical specialists on a regular basis about the problems, adjustments, and worries of your patients.
- Work together with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to guarantee that patient care is coordinated.
