Job Description
What You’ll Work On:
- Give IELTS and PTE lessons as needed.
- Start class promptly and in a neat, orderly manner.
- Keep a regular record of student attendance, the module schedule, and the module completion checklist.
- Show kids that you are polite and personable.
- Observe the established academic procedures and policies when carrying out any teaching activities.
- Create and compile the standard course syllabus and revised lesson plans for the verbal component of the SAT and IELTS tests.
- Create lesson plans and schedules that will optimize student learning and raise achievement levels.
- Use effective teaching and learning techniques to help students understand the material.
- When necessary, adapt teaching strategies and tactics to the needs of a varied student body.
- When appropriate, make use of the interactive technologies, projector, and Internet that are readily available for use in education.
- Provide and elucidate approaches that allow students' progress toward their target score to be fairly measured.
- Regularly assess student achievement by coordinating with Academic Assistants to provide a Sunday mock test once a week.
